The new vintage of this Catalan red wine from Montsant is produced using a mind boggling mix of grape assortments.
In particular, 65% Grenache originating from old vines, close by Syrah, 15% Carignan, and 5% Merlot, Ull de Llebre and Cabernet Sauvignon.
The grapes were aged in stainless steel tanks. At that point the Syrah was matured for 4 months in American and French oak barrels, while whatever remains of the wine was matured in the tanks.

This Brut is a classical blend of Xarello, Macabeo and Parellada aged for 18 months in contact with the lees with a quite young and fruity nose of apples, quince, fennel and yeasts with refreshing lift, refreshing, destined for food. Quite good value.
