A well made Bordeaux Blanc with Sauvignon, that is crisp and fresh, with notes of grapefruit, honeysuckle and lemon zest. Fresh, medium-bodied and surprisingly intense, long finish.
100% Sauvignon Blanc, this ismade in a very modern, fruit driven style. Up-front and slightly tropical white Bordeaux, this excellent, soft, opulently rich, honeyed, crisp, dry white possesses plenty of ripe fruit. It will provide ideal drinking over the next 1-2 years.
On the nose, this wine is quite aromatic, dominated by aromas of Kaffir and grapefruit notes. In mouth, it is a lively and fresh wine that is easy to drink. The Sauvignon brings flavors and vivacity while Semillon gives fullness and balance at the end.
After quaffing boatloads of it, Richard Betts finally had to try his hand at making some. He works with his friends Thienpont and has been able to craft a Sauvignon Blanc from vines grown on a limestone escarpment in the Entre Deux Mers portion of Bordeaux. All that can said is that it beats the pants off of basically all Sancerre and Pouilly Fume (save for Cotat and Dagueneau) AND it's about 1/4, yes ONE-QUARTER of the price. You're welcome.
Our second vintage of the Dubourdieu family's second wine from Château Reynon. The vineyards are faultlessly tended, the wine 100% succulent merlot, with around 20% new oak which does not rule. Appreciate it for its fragrant scent and supple natural product throughout the following three years.
This flagship white boasts floral and fruity aromas and is fresh and round on the palate with a crisp, dry finish. Among the greatest values in Bordeaux Blanc.
Fragrances of truffle, the woods and sweet flavors rule this wine. They are joined by clues of ready dark products of the soil smells. This wine is intense, all around organized and adjusted.
