Decidedly more viscous in the mouth, the tannins are more assertive but remain velvety on the palate. This is a now or later kind of wine; it's hard to resist now but it will last for decades.

This is a glorious explosion of Sangiovese cherry with classic notes of leather, truffle, tobacco and spice. Simply put one of the best we've ever tasted.
