The 2011 Amarone della Valpolicella Classico from Zenato is a mix of 80% Corvina, 10% Rondinella and 10% Oseleta. To the extent the wine itself, as it starts to loosen up in the glass it discharges great smells of blackberries, dull fruits and dried plums, trailed by complex notes of cowhide, dried flower, pepper and indications of chocolate which all meet up in this wonderfully made Amarone. On the plate this is completely delightful, full-bodied, smooth and exceptionally very much adjusted with a long, expressive wrap up. This is an awesome Amarone from the Zenato family and even at this energetic age is as of now to a great degree engaging.
