The Loire Valley produces high quality wines in all styles. All the wines, whatever their color or style, share the characteristics that make Loire Valley wines unique: freshness, finesse and food friendliness.
From the Touraine AOC, this is made in the Methode Traditionelle, and is a blend of Chenin Blanc and Chardonnay. You'd be hard pressed to tell the difference between this and a much pricier Champagne. The fruit in this is round, supple, with a toastiness reminiscent of brioche.
This traditional old vines Cabernet Franc shows densely saturated dark color with huge cassis fruit on the nose.. This shows the terroir nicely with alternating fruit and stone on a medium-bodied frame. Finishes lush and deep with a refreshing lift.
