This is a really pretty wine from stem to stern with an expansive and broad-scaled nose that combines red currants, minerals, tobacco and rose petal with plenty of Gevrey earth that continues onto the fresh, sweet, dense and pure flavors that possess that beguiling quality of inner mouth perfume. The finish tightens up substantially as it's both structured and wonderfully persistent with a beautiful sense of underlying tension. Like the old vines Morey, this is a strikingly good villages and highly recommended.
