This is totally different with big Cabernet Sauvignon fruit up front, with blueberry, black pepper and brairy notes. Decidedly more viscous in the mouth, the tannins are more assertive but remain velvety on the palate. This is a now or later kind of wine; it’s hard to resist now but it will last for decades.
